Casting your spells in quick succession can chain into devastating combos.
Your R-slot spell — Teleport, Thrust, Swap, or Return, whichever you own — is usually your best way out of a bad spot, but you're an easy target while it's on cooldown.
You don't have to spend all your gold every round — save up for costlier items and spells.
On a normal (non-donut) arena, holding your ground near the center keeps you out of the lava and pushes fights toward the edge.
Instead of firing every spell the instant it's off cooldown, save some for the right moment.
Sometimes standing still is the best evasive move.
Experienced opponents will read your patterns — stay unpredictable.
Shield deflects projectiles, but it will not block AoE damage — a point-blank burst like Scourge, or a Meteor blast that lands in range, still hits you.
High-speed collisions with an enemy damage both players. An enemy shove can also ram you into a pillar, damaging both you and it.
Your mass changes how much you're shoved around in collisions. It starts at 1.00; some shop items change it, and the Avatar game mode gives its chosen player a huge mass bonus.
Pillars can be rammed apart or worn down by damage; destroying one bursts it into bouncing debris that keeps threatening the fight.
Some enemy projectile pairs destroy each other on contact, annihilating mid-flight before they land.
Bots make solid practice partners — they dodge your skillshots and lead their aim to intercept you.
Deathmatch opens with a frozen 20-second pause before the lava, gold drip, and shrink timers start — use it to get your bearings.
Short version: we count visits and watch how the menus get used. We don't know who you are, and we don't want to.
A self-hosted copy of Umami running on our own server. Nothing is sent to a third party. Umami uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Each visit is counted with a temporary id derived from your IP address and browser and regenerated daily; your IP address itself is not stored. We record the page you loaded, where you came from, your language, screen size, browser, operating system, and a country-level location.
Separately, the game server records match results — mode, length, spells bought, who won — against an anonymous per-device id. That data is used for game balance.
Match data is never joined to site analytics. Your player name and your saved player id are never sent to analytics, and we intend to keep it that way.
Raw events 90 days · interface recordings 30 days · match results kept indefinitely · backups 7 days.
